Allentown Craft Beer Festival - Allentown Brew Works (November 7, 2009): We are now ready to serve beer
at this event based on the winners of the keg-only competition (see above).
The winners will be given the opportunity to serve their beer, and
represent the Lehigh Valley Homebrewers. The competition was sponsored by Keystone Homebrew Supply, and consisted of popular voting by those present at this past meeting. Winners received $50 gift certificates at Keystone Homebrew Supply for their efforts. Congratulations to the winners! We will also be holding brewing demonstrations in the Bier Garden at ABW, and we're looking for volunteers to brew using their own equipment. Currently, we only have 3 members signed up to participate, though we can easily accomodate 5 more. Brewers will receive free admission to the event, so please reach out to us if you're interested... Time is running out!

Stoney Creek Homebrewer's Amature Brewing Championship - SCH is still accepting entries for their annual competition on Nov 14th. The entry deadline is 10/31. See the previous link for details. Let’s have a good showing at this event, there are only a few days left to enter!

Teach-a-Friend to Homebrew Day. November 14th is the date for our Fall Big Brew event at Chris Becker’s farm. This event is open brewing and we’ll have burgers and dogs for lunch. Bring something for the snack table, the club will also be providing donuts, bagels, muffins and coffee.

Malt Madness Label Competition (Nov. 24, 2009) - in an effort to generate more interest as well as some money for charity, we will be holding our first label competition. This event will cost $1 per entry with ALL proceeds going to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Based on the turn out of this event, we anticipate making this a combined part of Malt Madness in the future. For entry forms click here.
