March 2022 Lehigh Valley Homebrewers Newsletter

Greetings Brewers!

Our monthly meeting will be at Weyerbacher - with an early, 7PM start. We'll be there to taste "Dirty Tricks" the foreign export stout brewed in collaboration with LV Homebrewer, Ken Solt!

Please complete your membership renewals! We'd like to update our homebrew supply shop sponsors with a current list of members at the end of the month. We also need your survey responses to plan out future club activities.

Homebrew Con registration is now open. Register before April 23rd when the price increases by $50. Please follow the forum topic and post your questions / ideas in that space. We've registered our club for "club night" so begin planning your brewing so you have a keg to share!

We’ve received a donation of beer and wine bottles, we’ll be offering them up to club members during the next few meetings.

A couple other quick things to report - Malt Madness will be held at Retriever Brewing this year. Thank you to Retriever for partnering with our club! We're also working on a club collaboration with Yergey Brewing for Big Brew and Lehigh Valley beer week in May. We'll be voting on the beer style to brew at the meeting.

Future Meetings:

Meetings are open to anyone (21 and older) who home brews (beer, wine, cider, mead) or is interested in learning about home brewing.  Our club has over 30 certified judges and several members who have "gone pro" by opening their own brewery, meadery, or distillery! - So bring your latest craft creation and get some constructive feedback and/or accolades!

UPCOMING CLUB EVENTS

Here are some upcoming events, we'll add more specifics as we work out the details for these events.

OUR BREWERS (are awesome!)

Stop by Weyerbacher to try Ken's beer - if it kicks, we reserved a couple kegs for the meeting!
