December 2023 Lehigh Valley Homebrewers Newsletter

Greetings Brewers,

A reminder that our Holiday Party will be on Tuesday, December 19th, at McCall Collective Brewing in at the Susquehanna St location Allentown, PA. We need to give them a head count for food, so please register before December 12th - cost will be $20 per person.

November was club elections month, and we have elected positions for 2024:

President: Steve Anthony

Vice President: Rob Myers

Treasurer: Kyle Stout

Secretary: Edward Ponikvar

A special thank you to Harleigh Willmott for her tenure as treasurer in 2023, and good luck to our officers in 2024!

The sour the club brewed with Country Club Brewing will be on draft there for their anniversary on December 16th. Stop by to congratulate them on their success and try the Teach a Friend to Homebrew beer!

This month's Homebrewer of the Year challenge is a label competition. Upload your entries on the forum as we close out the year!

See you on Tuesday,

Steve Anthony

LVHb Club President

Future Meetings:

Meetings are open to anyone (21 and older) who home brews (beer, wine, cider, mead) or is interested in learning about home brewing.  Our club has over 30 certified judges and several members who have "gone pro" by opening their own brewery, meadery, or distillery! - So bring your latest craft creation and get some constructive feedback and/or accolades!

UPCOMING CLUB EVENTS

The Pocono Winter Beerfest at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg will be January 20, 2024 - watch the Events page to register!

OUR BREWERS (are awesome!)

The club had a strong showing at the Fegley's Craft Beer Festival in December, and Rob's cask didn't even spray beer everywhere!
