Greetings Brewers,
Our meeting this month will be on Tuesday, July 28th, at Sherman Street Beer Company in Allentown, PA. They are open to the public on Tuesday, and the Uno Taqueria food is on their calendar, some stop by early to grab something to eat. Our meeting, as usual, will start at 7:30PM.
Thanks to everyone who donated beer, cider, or mead and volunteered to serve at Jess Fin Fest this month. The sixth annual event raised $10k to donate to the National Brain Tumor Society, in memory of Jess Finlayson. It's always on honor to be asked to be involved in these events where the club can help have an impact on our community.
We've been invited to return for Lehigh Valley Pride on Sunday, August 30th. The event is from 1-7pm, so if you're interested in coming out to serve something for that (or can provide a keg) sign up on the events page! It was a lot of fun last year and another opportunity to give back. Thanks to Karyn Havas for volunteering to coordinate this year, see her or one of the officers if you have questions.
Third & Ferry is hosting Clam Jam on August 30th as well and once again running their Homebrew Competition. If you're interested in participating with that, register on their website. Since the club has committed to LV Pride, this will be a BYO equipment event.
Keystone Homebrew Supply is once again hosting their Club Barrel Brew Day on Saturday, September 12th. Register on the events page if you're interesting in coming out to the shop to brew, and let one of the officers know if you have any ideas for a recipe for this year!
Finally, the usual reminder that we've been looking for an alternative with a low barrier to entry for notifying those interested in news, festival opportunities, or event reminders, etc. outside of the monthly newsletter cycle. To this end, we've created the "LVHB News" Google Group. If you're interested, you should be able to search for lvhb-news@googlegroups.com in the Google Groups search and request to join.

Meetings are open to anyone (21 and older) who home brews (beer, wine, cider, mead) or is interested in learning about home brewing. Our club has over 30 certified judges and several members who have "gone pro" by opening their own brewery, meadery, or distillery! - So bring your latest craft creation and get some constructive feedback and/or accolades!
