May 2026 Lehigh Valley Homebrewers Newsletter

Greetings Brewers,

Our meeting this month will be on Tuesday, May 26th, at the Nazareth Brew Co. in Nazareth, PA. They're open to the public beginning at 4pm and have a kitchen, so stop by early to grab something to eat. Our meeting, as usual will start at 7:30PM.

A reminder that the Kreidersville Covered Bridge Festival is June 6th and 7th, and is a great opportunity to serve your beer to the public in support of the last covered bridge in Northampton. We're still looking for people to come serve, so RSVP if you're able to make it! If you can't make it and would like to send beer, let one of the officers know and someone will take it out.

Thanks to everyone who came out for Big Brew at Yergey's this month, and to the All Things Fermentable homebrew club for coming out to join us! It was a great opportunity to hang out with some new people, share some beer, and brew up a Belgian Pale Ale to support the Wildlands Conservancy. Look for an announcement with a release date and meetup to taste it in the next couple weeks! A special thank you to Epiphany Craft Malt for donating the malt and allowing us to have an even bigger charitable impact!

Thank you as well to everyone who came out to celebrate Rob's successful collab beer release, Kraken Krisp and to everyone who came out to serve and run brewing demonstrations at the Cheers to 250! exhibit opening at the National Museum of Industrial History. We'll be serving there regularly throughout the year, so plan to set aside a growler and come hang out. Keep an eye on the events page for dates! There's always a lot of events which will be starting end of summer, so make sure to start brewing for those as well!

Finally, the usual reminder that we've been looking for an alternative with a low barrier to entry for notifying those interested in news, festival opportunities, or event reminders, etc. outside of the monthly newsletter cycle. To this end, we've created the "LVHB News" Google Group. If you're interested, you should be able to search for lvhb-news@googlegroups.com in the Google Groups search and request to join.

See you Tuesday,

Steve Anthony

LVHB Club President
