June 2021 Lehigh Valley Homebrewers Newsletter

Greetings Brewers! It was great to see a bunch of you last month at our first in-person meeting since before the pandemic. Things continue to look good and we'll be headed to a new location for our club this month, Weyerbacher Brewing in Easton. At Weyerbacher we'll get to talk to some of their brewing staff and learn more about their operations. Also, we'll be judging the next round of HBoTY - Beers that incorporate the special ingredient of "Cherry". Please RSVP for both events so we can keep track of attendance and entries. It will be especially helpful for us to have a good headcount for Weyerbacher, as they are making special arrangements to be open that night for our club, including keeping their food truck open past normal hours. In fact, we'll be starting the meeting at 7PM (instead of the usual 7:30) to make it easier for them to host.

I'd like to remind everyone that Malt Madness is coming up on August 14th. Please start planning your brews for that event in support of our club. We'd like to get the entry count back up to where it was before we had to impose entry limits for social distancing.

Also, we're still targeting a serving event at a mini-beer festival on July 24th in South Bethlehem Township and possibly one on July 30th in Schuylkill County.

LVHB Club President
