June 2023 Lehigh Valley Homebrewers Newsletter

Greetings Brewers,

Our June meeting will be this Tuesday, June 27th, at Weyerbacher Brewing in Easton, PA. Weyerbacher is open to the public that day and will be hosting the Tierra de Fuego food truck, so come hungry!

Judging for the June Czech Pils/Weissbier competition will take place at the meeting as well; if you have beer and cannot make it, please get in contact and we will work to make arrangements. At July's meeting we will be judging the Belgian Blonde/Munich Helles beers. There's still time to brew for that competition, and both are great summer beers.

Thanks to everyone who joined us at Yergey Brewing for the release of the Big Brew for a Cause in support of the "She Nailed It" relay to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley. The beer has kicked, but Jim still has t-shirts, if you'd like to support the charity.

Finally, for those of you patiently waiting, we finally have pricing for a pallet buy! Please check the forum for pricing information and use the linked Google Sheet to register your interest.

See you on Tuesday,

Steve Anthony

LVHb Club President

Future Meetings:

Meetings are open to anyone (21 and older) who home brews (beer, wine, cider, mead) or is interested in learning about home brewing.  Our club has over 30 certified judges and several members who have "gone pro" by opening their own brewery, meadery, or distillery! - So bring your latest craft creation and get some constructive feedback and/or accolades!

Keep an eye on the Events Page, July is quiet so far, but August will be busy!
